On our car ride today:

Mac: Mom, please stop singing. 

Me: Oh, but I like to! Is my voice bad?

Mac: No. it’s nice. 

Me: Then why can’t I sing?

Mac: I need to hear the words. 

Me: Fair. But just so you know, some people like to sing along to songs. 

Mac: SOME people should stay quiet. I’m LISTENING. 

🤦‍♀️ What do I even SAY to that?!
