Wake up! (Bedroom door slams open dramatically while I’m getting ready in the bathroom. The kid stomps into the bathroom)

Mac: Mom, why weren’t you in your bed?
Me: I’m volunteering today. To try to help other people. I need to be ready early. 
Mac: I need YOU to help ME at home. 
Me: Yes, I will do that too. How can I help you right now?
Mac: I don’t need your help. 

Exasperatingly adorable.
